The Fabrication Lab encompasses nearly 4,000 square feet of open build space, offering a flexible industrial environment for hands-on collaboration. The Fabrication Lab offers open floor area, professional-grade tools and shop infrastructure, and configurable workstations to support structured or creative use. Whether prototyping a product, building furniture, refining an art installation, or launching a new business, the Fabrication Lab offers a scalable space to build.

SHOP SPACES
The Fabrication Lab is a multi-disciplinary workspace designed to support a wide range of making practices, from traditional fabrication to digital production. Organized into dedicated shop spaces, the lab provides the tools, environments, and infrastructure needed to move projects from idea to reality.
WOOD SHOP
Supporting both heavy and fine fabrication, the Wood Shop is a fully equipped workspace with access to hand tools, stationary machinery, and essential equipment needed to move efficiently from raw material to finished build.
PAINT SHOP
The Paint Shop is a controlled finishing environment designed for surface preparation and professional-grade application. Featuring a ventilated spray booth and dedicated workspace, it supports coating and finishing processes.
METAL SHOP
Equipped with core metalworking tools designed for prototyping, repair, and custom fabrication with heavyweight materials, the Metal Shop supports complex fabrication processes and is built for precision and durability.
TECH SHOP
Designed to house 3D printers, laser cutters, and related equipment, the Tech Shop is a clean fabrication environment dedicated to digital tools and precision workflows to support rapid prototyping and digital integration.
MEMBERSHIP
Designed for individuals actively developing creative work or physical products, the Creator Club supports skill-building, experimentation, and production without the overhead of maintaining a private shop or studio. Join the Creator Club to gain hands-on access to the Fabrication Lab alongside skill-based training and peer connection, plus special access to other creative spaces.

PROGRAMS
From introductory sessions to intensive workshops and one-off events, the Fabrication Lab leads several programs designed to support different types of makers at different levels of engagement with tools, materials, and fabrication workflows.
DRAFT NIGHTS
Draft Nights offer a no-cost, low-pressure weekly space to make something unfinished. Through guided prompts, open drafting time, and casual connection, participants draft ideas, scripts, lyrics, concepts, or projects, no polish required.
SHOP TALKS
Shop Talks offer low-cost, high-value introductory sessions designed for curious makers and creators. These events explore new disciplines, learn how different tools, processes or fields work, and connect you with ideas that can spark your next project.
SKILLS LABS
MAKER EVENTS
Maker Events are limited-run experiences that combine hands-on making with atmosphere and interaction. Designed as one-off or special-format sessions, they offer unique opportunities to build, create, and engage with fabrication in a more relaxed, event-driven setting.

WHAT IS A MAKERSPACE?
Makerspaces offer industrial-grade fabrication equipment to the public via membership plans and serve as a place for DIYers, artists, small business owners, and hobbyists to create without incurring heavy tools costs.
WHEN IS THE LAB OPEN?
The Fabrication Lab is open to paid members Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.
HOW LONG IS MEMBERSHIP?
Membership runs for 12 months from the day you join the Creator Club, but it can be cancelled at any time.
WHAT BENEFITS DO I GET AS A MEMBER?
As a Creator Club member, you get unlimited access to the Fabrication Lab during member hours, plus ongoing access to member chat groups, free workshop credits, a discount on other workshops each month, and more.
CAN MEMBERSHIP SAVE ME MONEY?
It can cost up to $20,000 in startup costs to set up a fully equipped shop space, including tools, machinery, insulating and setting up new electrical, and more, assuming you even have the space. Joining the Creator Club can save you thousands in startup costs and ongoing equipment maintenance and utilities costs.
DOES THE LAB OFFER CLASSES?
The Fabrication Lab offers several events, from Shop Talks to Skills Labs, to provide introductory and hands-on training in our equipment and machinery, plus safety orientation and minimum competency tools trainings.
CAN I BRING A GUEST?
Members are allowed to bring a guest once per month, provided the guest signs all applicable waivers and is trained to use our equipment.
DOES THE FABRICATION LAB SELL MATERIALS?
The Fabrication Lab does sell some materials, including wood, acrylic, glass, particle board, and metal scrap, as available, plus extra scrap wood that is made available at no cost to members.
CAN MEMBERS STORE MATERIALS?
Members can purchase access to a standard storage locker for $15 per month and access to pallet rack shelf storage for $25 per month (limited availability). Additionally, members can leave some materials and tools on site during certain projects if part of a specific Fabrication Lab program at no extra cost.
DO I GET OTHER BENEFITS?
Members receive one (1) free Shop Talk a month, plus a 10 percent discount on any other workshop. Members also have access to creative workspace in the Creator Commons.
CAN I CANCEL MEMBERSHIP?
While memberships run for 12 months, members can cancel and reactivate their membership plans at any time.
DOES THE LAB TAKE COMMISSION WORK?
The Fabrication Lab does take some work on commission, depending on machine availability and complexity, for community partners, nonprofit organizations, and startups.
